Faced with an long long list of things to complete, I've had to become quite resourceful at meeting basic functions in the house. We are faced with limited resources and thus to put in a pantry, I skinned four young pines, cut out a "U" shape in half a four foot sheet of plywood, had my wife paint an abstract design on the shelves. A bit of rope helps support the stucture. Now my wife didn't seem as thrilled as I did over this - did it in a weekend task - so I deemed it a proto-type.

Later when some of my guy friends where standing near me for protection, We coined a new term, it's called permanent proto-type :-)

But honestly a lot of what gets done will change over time and as time permits will be modified...so don't worry honey, I'll figure a way to keep the cats off that dang shelf.
