Solar gain is a problem in middle Georgia. We have to limit our south facing windows to keep that hot summer sun from turning us into human raisins. One thing to remember is to think, where do I live. There is a lot of discusion about keeping warm, but down here winter only takes up about 6 weeks, summer 6 months.
