This photos gives a good idea of the various layers which will make up this roof. On the left is the cement from the dome. moving to the right you see the asphalt emulsion which is under the cement and on top of the carpet. Under the carpet is tar paper and under the tar paper are wood slats from a local furniture company. They regard them as trash. Then come my timbers which I have harvested and peeled by hand.
