Horse Creek Farm Survey Plan

The Bibb Mfg. Co. originally surveyed this property Nov. 27, 1971. At that time the drawing was hand drafted and the only copy that we had was a blueline print that was all most unreadable. I used the survey coordinates and Autocad LT 2.0 to come up with this copy. During this time period the survey had to be done with a surveyors compass transit and shot through several hundred feet of very dense swamp. I was very surprised when entering the coordinates that the closure was not exact but a 1/16" dot covered the final closure lines.

I scanned the plot with a new model Logitech scanner called Free Scan, the original drawing was 24" x 36" so I had to use Logitech's Auto Stitch feature. This worked well for the first three sections of the scan. Please excuse the fourth section, it has a slightly mismatched joint.
