What is The Taylor Mill Baptist Church?
It is a local, New Testament Church affilated with the Southern Baptist Convention, Georgia Baptist Convention, and Friendship association. It is a baptized body of believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We assemble for praise, worship, teaching, inspiration and winning of the lost.
What is the Mission of Taylor Mill Baptist Church?
To be a dynamic, spiritual church empowered by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of sharing Christ with as many people as possible in the church, community, and throughout the world. to be a mision oriented church supporting mission work at all levels with prayer and financial support. To encourage members to be Christ-like in daily living, emphasizing total commitment of life and possessions to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
What do we believe?
We ascribe to and believe in The Baptist Faith and Message as amended which includes:
The BIBLE
We believe it to be the divinely inspired Word of God and is the truth without any mixture of error. It is the only complete and final revelation of God to man in this age. It is the standard and guide of conduct and action for the believer and the church and is the principles by which God judges us.
The BLOOD
Without the shedding of blood is no remission (of sin) Heb.9:22.
Even so the Son of man came - to give his life a ransom for many.
Matt. 20:28
The BLESSSED HOPE
This SAME Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in LIKE MANNER- as ye have seen Him go into heaven. Acts 1:11.
The NEW BIRTH.
Except a man be BORN AGAIN he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:3.
As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13.
ETERNAL LIFE FOR THE BELIEVER.
And I GIVE unto them eternal life and they shall never perish... John 10:28.
He that believeth on the Son HATH EVERLASTING LIFE. John 3:36.
Why are we here?
Matt.28:19-20 is the great commission to the church and plainly tell its purpose.
Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost:
We are here to tell of the Gospel-Good News. We are here to instruct believers in obedience. We are here to instruct and direct believers in service.
Why should you attend?
If you are saved:
To worship God.
To grow in strength and be better fit for service.
To show others by the testimony of your support that you believe what we teach.
If you are unsaved:
That you might hear the Good News told.
That you might find your need of Jesus Christ.
That you might find purpose and direction for your life.
That you might find your soul's salvation.
