Georgia JugFest food vendor application
Spaces are 14' x14' and are $50 per space for commercial vendors and $30 per space for Crawford County nonprofit organizations. Set up will be after 3 pm Friday, May 14, & 6:30 to 8:15 am Saturday, May 15.
All vehicles must be moved by 8:30am. Vehicles other than sales vehicles must be parked in designated vendor parking area. No vehicles will be allowed in the show area until the end of the show at 4 pm and no exhibitors will be allowed to break down until then. Violators will not be accepted into future shows.
Special arrangements can be made for larger sales trailers and motorized units. Electricity is available for a limited number of vendors: first come, first served, for a $10 fee. Generators will be allowed but vendors using generators will not be placed in the center of the festival field near the entertainment venue.
Only those items listed on your application and accepted will be permitted in your booth. For any food served on a plate, the seller must provide at least one table and eight chairs. All music must be discontinued during festival performances.
Vendors are responsible for collecting and paying Georgia Sales Tax. Each applicant will be required to obtain a food permit from the Crawford County Health Department, P.O. Box 305, Roberta, GA 31078 (at no charge). Due to guidelines in the local health department regarding food preparation and distribution at public gatherings, we strongly advise each applicant to contact our local health inspector before making application. You can reach Mr. Al H'lavaty with the health department at 478.836.3167 or email ajhlavaty@dhr.state.ga.us. He is normally in our area on Mondays and Wednesdays. Inspections will take place the day of the JugFest. Your signature below indicates your understanding of the necessity of a permit.
All commercial vendors must provide a copy of liability insurance.
Fees must accompany application and are nonrefundable unless space is denied (usually if too many similar vendors have already been accepted). Make checks payable to: Roberta/Crawford County Chamber of Commerce. Mail to the Chamber at P. O. Box 417, Roberta, GA 31078. All applications MUST BE received by March 15, 2010. Food vendors will be notified of acceptance the week of March 20. For more information, contact Vera Cook 478.836. 4840 cook504404@aol.com
